Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use and End User License Agreement (EULA) carefully before using Locate My IP. These terms govern your use of our application, diagnostic network tools, and premium features.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Locate My IP application ("the App", "our service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.

2. Description of Service & Disclaimer

Locate My IP is a network diagnostic and audit utility that displays public IP addresses, approximate geographic location, network interface data, and checks for VPN, proxy, IPv6, and WebRTC configurations.

Important Notice: Locate My IP is a diagnostic and auditing tool. It is not a Virtual Private Network (VPN) tunneling service and does not encrypt, tunnel, or anonymize your Internet traffic on its own.

3. End User License Agreement (Apple EULA)

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, your license is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple EULA"). You can review Apple's standard terms at:

In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA, the terms of the Apple EULA shall take precedence with respect to the iOS version of the App.

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions (PRO Access)

Locate My IP offers optional premium features ("Locate My IP PRO") available via In-App Purchase through Apple:

  • Subscription Tiers: Auto-renewing subscriptions are offered on a Monthly or Yearly basis, alongside a Lifetime non-consumable one-time purchase option. Pricing is displayed in your local currency in the App before purchase confirmation.
  • Payment & Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off or the subscription is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Renewal Charges: Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period at the agreed plan rate.
  • Managing Subscriptions & Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time by going to your iOS device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions after purchase. Cancelling will keep your PRO access active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Free Trials: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Refunds: All payments and refunds are processed exclusively by Apple in accordance with Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. To request a refund, please visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App solely for personal, diagnostic, and lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the App to commit, facilitate, or encourage any unlawful act or cyber attack.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App's source code or network protocols, except where permitted by applicable law.
  • Disrupt, overload, or launch automated scraping attacks against our backend API infrastructure.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App without our prior written consent.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and all network diagnostic data (including IP geolocation, ASN information, and risk classifications) are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

IP geolocation data is approximate and subject to ISP routing variations. We do not warrant that diagnostic lookups will be uninterrupted, error-free, or 100% accurate at all times.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Locate My IP, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. The revised Terms will take effect upon being posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
